Advocacy in Action Recently, Georgia Options co-signed a comprehensive letter to Commissioner Frank Berry and Commissioner Judy Fitzgerald outlining in detail how they could support and promote policy in the following areas:
1. Make a major investment in reducing the NOW/COMP waiver planning list 2. Address our direct support professional workforce shortage and crisis 3. Prioritize individualized services 4. Provide continued and enhanced family caregiver support 5. Advance mental health services
