Matt grew up with his loving family in Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Nebraska, and for the past 30 years – Georgia. Due to some early adulthood complications, Matt ended up at Gracewood Hospital in Augusta. After Gracewood, Matt experienced several unsuccessful group home placements. His parents wondered if they would find the right fit. Nineteen years ago, Matt and his family found Georgia Options. Since then, Matt has been living in his own house with staff support. He works at the local YMCA, delivers Meals on Wheels, and catches as many country music shows as he can.
